This looks so idyllic!! And I love baby animals, so the penguins would be a must for me. It’s also fun that you can see a platypus, and I would also be disappointed if I didn’t see one — I wish you had! Your Airbnb seems like it was conveniently located, too. Tasmania is on my list to visit, so I’ll bookmark this for the future!

Wow I love the sound of this place. I’d love to explore the trail along Emu River and see the orchids and ferns. Sounds wonderful. I can’t believe there how diverse these experiences in Burnie are. P.S I love penguins, Oh and The waterfalls look awesome too.

Sounds like they expanded (or rebuilt?) the city with a great plan. Love it! I want to see penguins in their habitat, so it’s going to be a fantastic experience if I get a chance to visit Burnie. I’m in love with the parks, too. It looks like they are beautifully landscaped. Lovely city!

Wow! This place is beautiful. It looks like something straight from a storybook. I have always been fascinated by penguins and would love to visit the observation center. Happy to know there is so much to see and do in Brunie.

Tasmania is on my list of places I want to go! However I have never heard about Burnie before. It seems to be a nice and relaxed town with a lot of nature – just right for a few days. I would love to see a wild platypus and the Botanical Garden looks fabulous too!

I love penguins so I would definitely love to go to the Little Penguin Observation Centre and see them. It looks like Burnie has a lot of natural places around that you can visit, and so many waterfalls. I would like to walk to the Oldaker waterfall, but also hike upstream the river, to reach Guide waterfall. Emu Valley Rhododendron garden must be so beautiful to visit in spring, when the flowers are all in bloom.

Burnie sounds like a hidden gem in Tasmania! Your detailed exploration of the town and its attractions makes me want to pack my bags and head there right now. The Oldaker waterfall at Burnie Park and the chance to spot a platypus at Fern Glades Reserve sound like unique experiences. I’m also intrigued by the Little Penguin Observation Centre!

I’m sold on visiting Burnie, what a beautiful place! I can see why Guide Falls was your favorite, I think it would be mine too. I’d also love to see the penguins and do some Emu watching. I’ve only seen them on the screen so it would be lovely to see them in person. The lookout adds a lovely addition to this town, it looks wonderful.

I am learning that there is so much to see and do in Tasmania! The outdoor scenery is quite beautiful. And we would definitely check out the baby penguins. Thanks for sharing your favourite spot in Burnie at Guide Falls.
