I love your way of defining what makes a good one—beautiful evenings, easy day trips, and good food. Being able to see places like Vøringsfossen and still come back to a peaceful fjord town at the end of the day is such a win. Norway is high on my bucket list, and this post makes Eidfjord feel like a place where you’d truly slow down and soak it all in.

So we missed inland gems like Eidfjord. It certainly does look like a great base with lots of things to see in the area and on day trips. Hiking and waterfalls would definitely call me back to see more of Norway.
