It’s so true that chasing waterfalls can be challenging.
The other day, I hiked to a series of waterfalls in Thailand, filming it all, only to find out there was some camera malfunction when I returned to the hotel. Grrr… So now I go back again tomorrow, for a repeated 2-kilometer-hike up the mountain. Which is a sort of a hassle, but the dip in the waterfall at the end will be rewarding 🙂
High Falls Gorge looks impressive, I’m sure that sound is like a thunder!

Gorgeous views. I have never been to the Adirondacks (surprisingly). I would definitely have to go in the fall for the beautiful colors!

I’ve loved waterfalls ever since my first visit to Yosemite – and many visits followed. So, I’m sure I would love this place. The trails look excellent, and the glass bottom bridge over one of the falls must be so, so cool! As an aside, the dark green wooden lounge chairs in one of the pix also brought back fond memories. Two of my aunts had the exact same type in their back yards!

Who doesn’t love a waterfall hike? This one gets bonus point for multiple waterfalls combined with ease of accessibility as well all the extras that have been put in place for the visitor. Thanks for highlighting this great waterfall hike!

The area around Lake Placid is so beautiful. We’d really enjoy hiking up to the high falls gorge on a return trip to the area!

The wooden pathway all the way up to the waterfall looks absolutely incredible! Even better that it’s so easy accessible, although it’s such a stunning place that I would even hike there for many hours to see it 😀 But this way, more people can enjoy it, which is really nice!

These wooden bridges look so super cool! This would be one of the hikes that I would dread and totally freak out about beforehand. But once it’s over, I’d be so proud and happy that I overcame my fear. Very inspiring – thanks for introducing this wonderful place!

I like the circular walking path because it is practical. Gorge discovery is perfect in the high summer because it is cool over there.

As I love waterfalls, I would love to make this hike to High Falls Gorge. It offers incredible scenery! It’s great to know that the difficulty level is easy, as I would love to take my tripod for pictures.
